We are a non-profit with a clean mission to grow 10 lakh trees in the Visakhapatnam district, and restore some of the green cover that was lost due to cyclone Hudhud. Using the power of Internet, Google maps, and social media, the Make Vizag Green project seeks to create social awareness, and provide a transparent, reliable, and cost effective tree plantation program to restore the lost greenery in Visakhapatnam. The overall program is designed and operationalized by Umar Alisha Rural Development Trust (UARDT). UARDT has a well-established track record in environmental awareness and tree plantation programs.
